Sportsmanship: The responsibility for fair play and good sportsmanship rests not only with the school administrators and student body, but most importantly with the coaching staff and athletes. The IHSAA Executive Committee expects and demands that the coach of every team acts like an educator and a leader. It further expects that he/she will inform the athletes of their responsibilities during the tournament.

COVID-19: Covid-19 precautions and guidelines will be enforced at all sites for the team tennis state finals. Masks or face coverings WILL BE REQUIRED for all fans in attendance, non-playing players, and coaches. Stress this with all individuals and families in your program. Thank you for your assistance in this area for the health and safety of our student-athletes and all in attendance. Introductions will be socially distanced and no handshakes. Touching of racquets is appropriate. I would ask that all competitors sanitize as needed.
