The Wildcats took second on Saturday at the Scottsburg Invitational.

Jasper defeated Christian Academy 25-19, 25-23, Hauser 25-20, 25-20, and Scottsburg 25-18, 25-11. They lost to eventual champions Evansville North 23-25, 26-24, 16-14.

Reagan Egbert paced the Cats with 42 kills on the day, while Allison Mair added 23 kills for the team. Egbert also led the team in digs with 34. Jayden Pfister picked up 29 digs for the team, while Kayla Fuhs had 24. Fuhs also led the team in aces with 8. Kate Green handed out 84 assists on the day to lead the offense.

The Wildcats are now 5-3 on the season. They will be back in action Tuesday at Mt. Vernon for Big 8 conference action.
